BEFORE 

My dear client dropped off this set of two end tables and one coffee table as a pleasant surprise for me on a Friday afternoon. 

They are the classiest and the most elegant French Provincial style I've been craving for so long to finally get to work on them. 

She told me she tried to tackle them with paint before attempting to brighten and restyle them into the shabby chic look she loves.

However, time ran out and she didn't successfully finish the project on her own. 

And now, she doesn't have time to DIY and is afraid to paint them white, her desired color, since the top surface, which was the only part she painted, is ruined with scratch marks, paint cracks and melt-on placemat. 

So I took on the project and hoped to resurrect them to their old glorious time! 

AFTER

These two lovely end tables were painted with Van Gogh Fossil Paint Chivalry (grey) color and top off with three layers of Chalk color.

With sanding, the surface was smoothed, and first coat of Chivalry (grey) color and original wood color were revealed.

To protect the furniture, Annie Sloan Clear Soft Wax was applied and buffed to shine.

Hardware on the end tables were sprayed painted three times with Rust-Oleum Vintage Metallic Rose Gold color to give the table even more customized features.

With a little staging to show off its potential, these two end tables are now as good as new and ready to head back to serve its owner for a very long time to come. 

AFTER

The coffee table was in the same condition but I forgot to take a photo of its initial state.

It went through the same transforming procedures as the above-mentioned end tables except for the hardware part.

With the facelift transformation completed, the coffee table is perfect for girly shabby chic, light and airy cottage style or modern farmhouse look.
